Now, I would like to talk about my recent life. I'm trying to get driver license. Day by day, I went to the school to get driver license if I have enough time. And Sep, 1 I finally got the license!!!

Secondly, since I belong to the ice hockey club I go to my school to do some exercise four times a week. Our team meets together at my school. And it is hard enough to make pain my legs, arms, and so on!! There are still some pains.

By the way, we used Old Bay seasoning the day before yesterday. I saw it first in the term when I ate Gyro. That was in the Old Post Office Pavilion. Ji won told me that fried potatoes with vinegar and the seasoning is good! So I tried it. …Delicious!

My sister’s friends sent it to us as a present one year ago. That was when I saw it first in my life. And my family uses it occasionally. So my mother asked me to buy it, six or seven packs. Then I searched for it and finally I found out it!! I bought eight packs!!

At that day, we use it in the curry rice. That is delicious too!! I would like to know more how to cook. If you have idea please tell me.

And let me tell some stories. When I bought the eight packs seasoning, some effects occurred. Most of the members were shocked to see my buying a lot of the seasoning. And they bought it!! They said that they didn’t have it but Fumi bought it a lot, so it must be delicious. It was credible!!

Hey everyone!! Did you use it?
Anyway, such a memory is part of my life.

After that...

Aug, 19. I went to a festival with my family. The festival was hold near my house. This festival is very small, but I can find an aspect of the festival thanks for visiting Maryland. I couldn’t say that Japanese summer festival is really nice before that. But this time I can sincerely say it is great.
Before I talk about it, I would like to introduce my family. This is my mother and father. My father's name is Kazuhiro and my mother's Taeko. I have one sister. She is Waka. And now we have two Chinese girls as home stay students, Yuhen and Hoeshen. They are from Taiwan and have been Japan for two month. And they will go back to Taiwan, soon.
In this festival we had some Yatai, which are selling foods, drinks or something like that, and program which included Taiko and Sohran bushi, the name of Japanese dance(??). As usual I saw a Japanese festival as a boring thing. But this time is not. They had strong power and they were trying to include all of us. I was aspiring and thougth of it as a nice festival.
This is the program of Taiko

But this time I didn’t have friends to join us. Of course family is important. What I want to say is in Maryland I had more and more fun to be with you, all of you. So I would like to post some pictures. The feel makes me do that.
As I’ll take Hiromi (Obachang) cue, I uploaded all of my pictures. Click below and you can see it. Have fun!

    Home sweet home

Hello everyone, what’s up? Agu, 17 I got to my home safely. At first what I felt when I arrived at Narita Airport was high humidity. Year, I could say I was in Japan. The program was over. But there isn’t reality. I couldn’t help feel living with everyone continue forever. What was done? What are we going to do? And the following day I woke up at five. There aren’t friends around me. I wanna run to destruction! The chatter of cicadas existed. High humidity held me. Fast, fast! This is the time when I got the reality.
When I'm thinking of the start, which I decided to take part in, I can say it was quite a windfall for me. This is because I offered to participate in this program after the deadline. I hesitated to send up. I said to myself I have a lot of things to do, such as getting driver license, studying Japanese Constitution. This was only laziness. And the deadline came. Someone seemed to cancel after that. The chance had come. And then I applied to the program. After that I also have some worries. We didn't know each other very much. Can I get along with others?
But such anxieties are not needed. In the end, as you can see, these days are filled with a lot of smiles, walking, and talking with Laura, Tim, Ji won, Kevin, Nina, and so on. Great days!

    A lump.

I always feel that it is short when I have done something. I’ve read a book which is written about why people feel time is short when they reflect something. The book says we reflect it as a lump. A concept of time doesn’t exist. But a lump like that includes many kinds of things that we experience.
Today may be the last day I can write this blog in Maryland. We will leave here tomorrow. I cannot help feel " thank you" in Japanese "ARIGATO" to people who support us.

The program is coming to an end. We went to Annapolis, Alexandria and so on. Many kinds of things happened and I had a lot of fun. But the most different thing I thought is an act that a poor person asked us to give him some money. I’m surprised. I’m surprised to notice that I was surprised, too. In Japan people don’t do like that. When I seek an origin I’m surprised I usually reach the reason.
    But social problems are there.

    the University.

Aug, 10 after usual class there is a program. You can see this in detail at Nina’s blog (see your right, and you can find the link!). That’s really interesting. Although it is difficult to understand whole things we could listen to a lot of useful things. One of my interests is that most of the students are living with a few people. And surprisingly the university makes a kind of city. Such structure may make the U.S. have cultural diversity.

    Recall !

Yesterday I found an interesting tendency. During this kind of trip we are likely to talk about our own country’s story or what we played in the elementary school. I have no idea the tendency is applied only to us. As I was guessing it, this may indicate that we are identifying ourselves through talking, I think. You might be able to find the figures who fight to stand by their own feet in the dark.
Anyway, it is interesting to recall your childhood and notice the coincidence and difference between others’ and your childhood.

Okay. On last Sunday I met some friends, who are not taking part in this program but another program, at the National Gallery of Art museum. This group is to go to American University for about two weeks. Because we were in a trip in America and we hadn’t seen for a couple of time we each other were surprised and we forgot being in the U.S. for a minute. The gathering is great and the museum itself is also wonderful! I can be there to see all days maybe. I have been to another two museums. I’m sorry not to have a order because I have a lot of things to write about!

    starting weekdays

There are a lot of things which I want to write. But before I write about what happened to me, I would like to write what I think of being in the U.S.
Today is Aug 8, you know, and I arrived here on Aug 2. I’ve already been here for about a week! It surprises me. Of course, I can say that I have done a lot of things and spend a lot of time. But time is going faster than I thought. And fulfilling!

    Going to Washington D.C!

Talking to a picture taken with Ji Won, he is good at the game and Raula took this picture. It's fun!A lot of huge architectures made me surprised. Unfortunately we didn't go to the Jefersonial Memorial. There are a lot of cherry blossoms which are presented by Japan. I would like to go cherry blossom festival some day (^^)/
