The program is coming to an end. We went to Annapolis, Alexandria and so on. Many kinds of things happened and I had a lot of fun. But the most different thing I thought is an act that a poor person asked us to give him some money. I’m surprised. I’m surprised to notice that I was surprised, too. In Japan people don’t do like that. When I seek an origin I’m surprised I usually reach the reason.
But social problems are there.

Social problems are always there, but unless people attempt to seek reason and understand the problems, nobody would be able to come up with an answer! Keep thinking "deep!"

We have a lot of homeless people in the U.S., and some of them beg on the street. I think some beggars are not really homeless, but it's hard to tell who is who. I don't like to give money to people on the street, but I give money to organizations that help the homeless.

Everyone seems pretty surprised a bit by the beggars! I guess there are none in Japan, huh?
